Music Aloud 2

Posted in music by ohiorat on October 5, 2009

Couple of months back, if my memory serves me right, i remember posting a blog titled Music Aloud. I must admit that I visit that site at times. But these days have been reading it quite a bit. Apart from VIP who I had talked about in my last blog, I see another name which is quite familiar. The name is VR, an equally cool friend of mine. He was quite famous in our college for being half of the quiz team which kept winning every year’s quiz event at Ragam.(For those who are not familiar with Ragam, its a fest conducted by NITC.). But I would say he was a better friend.

VR also comes up with cool reviews , even though as a reader and a friend one might wish that he is more frequent.

Apart from that Music aloud has come up with a new series called “A Song A Day”. And trust me its mind blowing.

And there is a online music quiz which started a few days back.

So people musicAloud is the place to go. Trust me, it is!!!!

News! News!

I just figured out that one of my classmates, who was a bigger shirker than I was and was always my partner in crime during the classroom sessions of cows and bulls, has considerably changed after joining a Lucknow based Institute. He always had a thing for words which was proved by his total annihilation of the Hindu crosswords (My contribution – The Hindu) and passion for music (He still thinks he can sing. )

Now he has actually gone a step ahead and started writing on music, basically music reviews and a whole lot of other stuff.

Please find his scribblings at http://www.musicaloud.com/ . He, Vipin S Nair is using a pen name of V.I.P. for all of his posts. How he got that as a pen name is a long story which is known only to those who went to REC/NITC, and I promised him that I wont leak the story.

So people, click the link, Read it, And spread the word.
